The changes in pace and tone are wonderful but in the end I enjoy this so, so much because it resonates with a real sense of place which, in my opinion, is what the best music (and art in general) should attempt to do.
I'm in a place right now that I can't describe. I've got reasons to be up in the clouds and then some that make me want to drag my face in the dirt. It was refreshing being shown this song because I felt tethered to something. I felt like I was somewhere.
Somewhere, our limbs lost in the distance.
Soundtrack to Nicolas Menard's first year film made at the Royal College of Art.
